The Point Hope Street Festival shown here is the event I have a booth in on Father’s Day. Hope to see you locals there, and I’ll do what I can to bring everyone into it virtually (maybe even remember I have an Instagram thing).

Please note that parking is tight–but look at all the cool free ride options, and it’s a working yard, so there’s suggested footwear advice as well. It’s going to be amazing.

“Fierce Hope” Help Ukraine fundraiser is closed, but the fight continues…

An angel has bought Fierce Hope, and the giving didn’t stop there. They asked to remain anonymous, and requested the painting go to a friend. The $300 will go to the Ukrainian Cultural Centre in Victoria BC, as soon as can be arranged. <3

“Fierce Hope”

ALL of the proceeds
from the sale of this painting will be donated to an organization helping in Ukraine.

2021: Coast Victoria Hotel and Marina Artist in Residence

https://www.coasthotels.com/coast-victoria-hotel-and-marina-by-apa

My first Artist in Residence was in March at the Coast Victoria Hotel and Marina, and in the adjacent Blue Crab restaurant. It was an odd, little bit wonky, even surreal experience because of the pandemic of course. A portion of the proceeds went to the care of the peacocks in Beacon Hill park, in Emily’s memory, in honour of her experience she wrote about in her book, “The Heart of a Peacock”.

Sunday, May 26, 2019  The Opus Challenge Event!

Did we ever get lucky with the weather! Saturday’s record-breaking torrents replaced with clear blue skies this morning.

The Opus tent is in the park above Fisherman’s Wharf. The event starts at 10, and paintings are submitted by 3. Clive and I are not there all day, we will be somewhere in that vicinity after 12:30.

Come and find us, enjoy seeing the other artists, and maybe grab an oyster burger from Barb’s Fish & Chips. 🙂
